Mainly important things, I translated from Japanese to English.

Basically, radioactive particles are moved and made thin by wind. If you become in a circumstance that you need to escape, Japan (or local) government will announce it. So take care about new information arrival from TV,radio etc...

If where you stay is included in "Okunaitaihi(屋内退避)" order, it's mean you should not go out except for emergency, and shut windows and door(s). In a case that you stay in a wooden house, it is better to go a center of the house.
You should not dry the washing in the sun, please do it in the house.

Probably, tap-water is no problem, but if you worry about it, please wait a conclusion about safety or not.

It's generally believed that "exposure dose under than 100mSv" don't have a bad influence for your health.

If you are living in place where a specialist infer that the place is contaminated by radioactive iodine, a medicine will be distributed to prevent occurrence of  a cancer thyroid gland.
